CNC router

I’ve attended the last few meetups for the Newcastle Markers, based in Hamilton East in Newcastle. It is a small group of people who are interested in sharing skills and knowledge about making things. No one limits what projects to discuss but there is a heavy lean towards electronics and the like. The last few meetups have been focused around putting together a CNC router.

I can’t say I have really contributed to it yet but one thing it will need is a more sturdy bench to sit upon. With all the bits of lumber lying around after the house repairs, I am hoping to put together something solid.

Controlling the router is fairly standard I have been told. Hopefully I will get a chance to look into that sometime soon.
